Welcome to New Freeport Cabin at Burns Bluff
History
This cabin was originally built in New Freeport, PA by Joshua Rice. Hence, the name of this cabin. Joshua Rice was a Union soldier in the civil war. He built the cabin for his family when he returned home after the war.
The cabin was taken down by Mark Bowe and his crew during the filming of their 12th season of Barnwood Builders. It aired as Episode 5 “Carving Out a Life.” Not long after that Mark Bowe and his crew stacked this cabin here at Burns Bluff. The 4th Episode of the 13th season aired with the stacking of the cabin, titled “Cabin on a Cliff.”
